SENIOR ANALYST HAPŪ ENGAGEMENT

 About the role

This is a fixed term (6 month role) to advance special projects, in particular to support the Constitutional Evaluation team in undertaking the review of the constitutional arrangements of the Heretaunga Tamatea Settlement Trust, together with developing a plan to grow the capacity and capability of the Hapū and Marae of Heretaunga Tamatea.  This report will provide a clear pathway for the hapū and marae to take full responsibility for exercising tino rangatiratanga within its area of influence, extending over time to taking over any responsibility that may sit with HTST.

 

As the Senior Analyst – Hapū Engagement.    

You will bring:

  • Sound skills in Te Reo Māori me ngā tikanga with a deep understanding of the history and traditions of Heretaunga and Tamatea
  • Experience in working in a kaupapa Māori environment
  • Strong project management skills
  • Excellent relationship management and communication skills
  • Excellent organisational skills and ability to work to deadlines.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Excellent report writing skills.
  • Relevant Qualifications
