He kura reo tēnei mō te hunga mātau me te hunga matatau ki te reo Māori. Ka aroha te hunga kātahi anō ka tīmata ki te ako i te reo, kāore he akoranga mā koutou i tēnei tau. He reo rūmaki te katoa o te kura reo, me mātua mōhio ngā tauira ki te ako i tēnei momo nōhanga.
This Kura Reo is only for those with medium to high levels of proficiency in te reo Māori. Unfortunately, we are unable to cater for the beginner level this year. The entire kura reo is full immersion, students must be able to learn in this environment.

Registrations will open on Monday 7 September at 10am and will close as soon as places are filled and payment received.

As this event is highly subsidised by Ngāti Kahungunu Iwi Incorporated, you must also be a Ngāti Kahungunu Iwi Incorporated registered member to attend. You will need your Iwi Membership Number to register for this event.

All invoices will be sent out by email and payments must be paid by the cut off date of 11 September to confirm your registration, otherwise it becomes null and void.

We will only be catering for those with food allergies. Any other dietary requirements outside of food allergies will have to be self-catered. There are microwave and refrigeration facilities available.

Catering changes. Due to the current restrictions, only lunch will be catered at this kura reo through individual lunch packs that will be prepared off-site. We will still provide morning tea and afternoon tea, however, breakfast and dinner will not be provided at the kura reo.

Due to current Covid-19 restrictions, we must closely monitor the number of attendees. This means that we can not cater for children or anyone else apart from registered students and tutors.

There is no pōhiri on Sunday 4 October. The kura will start on Monday.

We have robust mitigation plans in place should the Covid-19 alert level change by October. If the Kura Reo is unable to proceed due to Covid-19, all payments made will be refunded. We will closely monitor this situation over the next 5 weeks.

Please think, read and discuss options before you jump into register. Do not make the mistake of registering as an individual when your organisation is paying for this event. Your registration simply becomes null and void.
