NOTIFICATION OF PROPOSED PLAN CHANGE 3 TO THE HASTINGS DISTRICT PLAN PROVIDING FOR MARAE IN THE RURAL ZONE AND PLAINS PRODUCTION ZONE

Hastings District Council advises that Proposed Plan Change 3 is now notified for public viewing. Members of the public are able to make formal submissions. Proposed Plan Change 3 introduces amendments to the following sections of the Hastings District Plan to provide for marae in rural areas as a permitted activity.

Section 5.2 Rural Zone of the Operative Hastings District Plan and Section 6.2 Plains Production Zone

The proposed plan change may be viewed and submission forms obtained in the following ways:

• via Hastings District Council website: www.myvoicemychoice.co.nz

• at Hastings District Council Civic Building, Lyndon Road East, Hastings; or

• Hastings District Council Libraries.

Completed submission forms (must be on Form 5) are to be emailed or mailed to the addresses below:
