Health Hawke’s Bay – Te Oranga Hawke’s Bay is looking for an administrator wanting to make a difference in the local health community.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a passionate person to support HealthPathways, an online portal that provides patient referral and management information to health care professionals in the Hawke’s Bay health system.
We are looking for a person with proven administration skills who can liaise between the local HealthPathways programme and the Streamliners writing team. You will be supporting clinical leaders, clinical editors, and the programme manager to coordinate the development and maintenance of HealthPathways content and data.
We want a results-driven person who can handle multiple tasks and adapt to changing situations. You must be a confident communicator, who can collaborate well with others. Previous experience and knowledge of the health and disability sector would be a bonus.

Health Hawke’s Bay – Te Oranga Hawke’s Bay is looking for a General Practitioner to edit, validate and maintain the clinical content published on the HealthPathways website.
HealthPathways is an online portal that provides patient referral and management information to health care professionals in the Hawkes Bay health system.
A Clinical Editor will need to negotiate clinical agreement for each pathway and ensure the website is used by and useful to general practice and hospital clinicians.
We need someone who is well organised, with previous experience and a sound knowledge of the health and disability sector. You must be a confident communicator with proven ability to develop and manage relationships with a diverse range of health professionals.
Person specification:
• Has a good understanding of applying evidence to practice.
• Is experienced enough to cultivate clinical editing relationships with primary and secondary clinicians, understand their perspective, and debate with them.
• Knows the key providers and individuals in their health system and is able to decide which ones to involve in HealthPathways.
• Is able to lead their peers and make decisions.

Primary Care Nurse Director

The Primary Care Nurse Director position is a clinical leader who will deliver senior nursing professional advice within the primary care arena, including leading and having an overview of all primary health care nurses and activities in which they are engaged across the region.
You will be commitmitted to team work, service integration with nursing and be able to collaborate with other regulated professionals – including working in partnership with the Health Hawke’s Bay Medical Director to deliver consistent interprofessional leadership to the primary healthcare clinical workforce.
This role will also advise and support the Chief Executive Officer in respect of the nursing contribution to meeting the strategic goals and government priorities (relating to primary healthcare), and work in partnership with the Group Manager Māori Health in the delivery of the Health Hawke’s Bay Strategic plan and Māori workforce plan.
The Primary Care Nurse Director will lead the primary health care nurses focus on enhancing the quality of care to patients, whānau and groups cared for in the community.
