Te Taiwhenua o Heretaunga (TToH) is a kaupapa-Māori organisation with a 36-year record of success in the provision of health, social and educational support to communities across Heretaunga and wider Hawke’s Bay. We focus on outcomes for whānau by creating personalised, wraparound packages of care and support for families or individuals, based on their own particular needs. We are searching for a leader to join our executive team as the General Manager of Business Growth and Design and drive our business and funding initiatives forward as we continue as an organisation of excellence.
TToH is now preparing to undertake the next stage of its development through the integration of services and contracts clearly aligned with the needs of whānau. These are rare opportunities for a forward-thinking and outcomes-focused leader keen to take up a key role within an organisation acknowledged nationally and internationally as a model of success.
With enrolments of 16,000 TToH is a driving force in achieving the best outcomes for whānau. This requires innovation, adaptability, and the ability to engage meaningfully and aspirationally with high-needs communities.
We need someone who can hold their own and proudly represent our Kaupapa at the highest level. You will be responsible for building strong relationships with our funders, turning market and organisation gaps into opportunities, overseeing contracts, and standing up new services.
The role carries responsibility for the design and implementation of a strategy for cohesive business growth within TToH with Whānau ora as the foundation. Quality improvement and the value of data are key tools required.
Reporting directly to the Kaiwhakahaere Matua (Chief Executive Officer), this person would have a clear understanding of the wider responsibilities of TToH and be able to work collaboratively with the Executive Management Team.
