All over the country people are helping each other in their local community. In Heretaunga for example Māori like Zak Makaore are doing what they do best, sharing aroha and manaaki to their family, neighbours and friends in Flaxmere.
Māori NGO's are going the extra mile to deliver services above and beyond the normal run of business here and Te Taiwhenua o Heretaunga is an example of that in our rohe.
It comes naturally and there's many more going about it unseen and unheard of when there's stepping up to be done in times like this. We have heroes and must acknowledge them when and where we can. Big ups to them all!
