In 2020 another Heretaunga tamariki team (the Blackbots) was successful in winning the NZ robotics championship challenge and won a place in the World Championships in Houston Texas meant to be held in May. Unfortunately, the Covid-19 virus interrupted this event and they are awaiting news on what will happen. The challenge for the 2020 competition was an environmental one, about improving the place and life we all live in our homes, our places, our region.
We look forward to seeing these tamariki get their chance to shine on the world stage in Houston like the 2019 HB AllStars in Los Angeles!
