Main purpose of job | Whāinga nui o te Tūranga:

The Maori Engagement Advisor will play a leading role in enhancing the British High Commission’s (BHC) and UK engagement with Aotearoa New Zealand and iwi Māori.  It will directly contribute to strengthening the UK-Aotearoa New Zealand relationship, enhancing our cooperation on climate change and te taiao (strategic direction for bio diversity in New Zealand), and ensuring our UK/ NZ Free Trade Agreement meets the aspirations of Māori.
