TE KURA REO Ā-IWI O NGĀTI KAHUNGUNU 2020

Ka tū tonu Te Kura Reo ā-Iwi o Ngāti Kahungunu mai i te Rātapu te 4 ki te Rāpare te 8 o Whiringa-ā-nuku ki Te Whare Takiura o Te Aho-a-Māui. Kua panonitia ētahi āhuatanga nā te mate urutā.

Ka 100 anake ngā tūranga. Nā te iti noa o ngā tūranga e wātea ana, ka whakamātāmuahia ngā mema rēhita o Ngāti Kahungunu. Ka tū ko Te Kura Whakapakari anake. Ka hiki te kura ā te poupoutanga o te Rāpare.

Te Kura Reo o Ngāti Kahungunu will still go ahead this year from Sunday 4 to Thursday 8 October at EIT. There are several changes due to the uncertainty regarding Covid-19.

There will be only 100 spots available. Due to the restricted numbers, registered members of Ngāti Kahungunu Iwi Inc. will be prioritised. We will be facilitating Te Kura Whakapakari only which is for speakers of medium to high level of fluency. Unfortunately we will not be providing the beginner course, Te Kuhunga this year. The kura will finish at lunch on Thursday.

- Parekura Rohe-Belmont
- Petera Hakiwai

These changes have been made to ensure that we maintain social distancing throughout the kura and mitigate as much as possible any risks associated with Covid-19.
